In einem Film voller unterhaltsamer &#220;bertreibungen ist diese Szene tats&#228;chlich eine der realistischsten. Denn wir alle wissen: Musik am falschen Ort kann die Emotionen erhitzen wie kaum eine andere Kunstform, wahrscheinlich weil sie direkt unser Innerstes erreicht und man ihr nur schwer ausweichen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Die Menschheitsgeschichte ist voll von Gewalt gegen Kunstwerke aller Arten. Statuen wurden besch&#228;digt, B&#252;cher verbrannt und Gem&#228;lde gesch&#228;ndet. Das ist Gewalt gegen Objekte. Gewalt gegen Musik richtet sich dagegen meistens direkt an die Aus&#252;benden. Und das unabh&#228;ngig davon, ob die Musik aggressiv oder friedlich und lieblich ist. Es reicht, wenn sie im falschen Kontext erklingt.<\/p>\n<p>Dass sich zutiefst religi&#246;se russisch-orthodoxe Menschen &#252;ber eine laut schrammelnde weibliche Punkband in einer Kirche aufregen (wie damals beim \u201ePussy Riot\u201c-Eklat) ist wenig verwunderlich. Wenn sich aber im jetzigen Kabul ein weiblich besetztes Streichquartett an eine Ecke setzen und leise und zart sch&#246;nsten Schubert spielen w&#252;rde, w&#228;re dies ein noch wesentlich gr&#246;&#223;erer Affront und w&#252;rde vermutlich noch wesentlich schlimmere Konsequenzen f&#252;r die Musikerinnen nach sich ziehen, als es die \u201ePussy Riot\u201c-Mitglieder erlebten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Angst vor der \u201efalschen\u201c Musik muss uralt sein, denn schon Platon entwarf strenge Regeln zu ihrer Verwendung in einem idealen Staatsgebilde. In einem Nichtbeachten dieser Regeln sah er gro&#223;e Gefahr f&#252;r die geistige Gesundheit der B&#252;rger.<\/p>\n<p>Ich finde es zutiefst faszinierend, dass wir anscheinend die \u201erichtige\u201c Musik am \u201erichtigen Ort\u201c platzieren m&#252;ssen, damit sie funktioniert, obwohl die Musik an sich ja dieselbe ist, egal an welchem Ort wir sie spielen. Warum w&#252;rde J&#252;rgen Drews beim Heavy-Metal-Festival in Wacken bei einem Auftritt vermutlich in St&#252;cke gerissen werden, wogegen er am Ballermann als absolut passend empfunden wird? Es ist &#252;brigens nicht unm&#246;glich, dass ein Ballermann-Besucher auch das Festival in Wacken besucht, und dennoch diese ablehnende Reaktion teilen w&#252;rde &#8211; denn an einem Ort erwartet er dies, am anderen das andere. An einem Ort ist J&#252;rgen Drews falsch, am anderen Ort richtig, mit exakt der gleichen Musik. Die Musik hat also einen Wert, der ganz unabh&#228;ngig vom tats&#228;chlichen Klang vom Kontext bestimmt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn wir in ein Restaurant gehen und ein Schnitzel bestellen, man aber stattdessen eine Wurst serviert, ist Aufregung verst&#228;ndlich, denn wir haben eine bestimmte Dienstleistung bestellt, aber etwas anderes bekommen. Musik kann also eigentlich nur dann dieselbe Reaktion hervorrufen, wenn sie als Dienstleistung verstanden wird. Und das oben beschriebene Drews-Konzert in Wacken w&#228;re vermutlich deswegen ein Skandal, weil die dort erwartete \u201eDienstleistung\u201c eines Heavy-Metal-Sounds nicht erf&#252;llt w&#252;rde. Aber ist Musik wirklich nur Dienstleistung?<\/p>\n<p>Ich pers&#246;nlich finde es sehr spannend, Musik au&#223;erhalb des erwarteten Kontexts wahrzunehmen. Je unpassender eine Musik zum Beispiel beim Er&#246;ffnungskonzert der Salzburger Festspiele w&#228;re, desto spannender w&#228;re sie von einer k&#252;nstlerischen Perspektive aus. Eklats und Affronts haben enormes k&#252;nstlerisches Potenzial, wenn sie nicht Selbstzweck sind, sondern aus einer k&#252;nstlerischen Notwendigkeit heraus entstehen.<\/p>\n<p>Niemand kann z.B. Stravinsky den Vorwurf machen, dass er mit \u201eSacre\u201c k&#252;nstlich schocken wollte, denn die Musik folgt unglaublich konsequent einer eigenen &#196;sthetik, die uns inzwischen sehr vertraut ist. Aber f&#252;r ein nach unterhaltsam-leichter Ballettuntermalung gierendes Pariser Publikum war diese maximale Fremdheit und Nichterf&#252;llung der Erwartungshaltung wie ein Schlag ins Gesicht.<\/p>\n<p>Es ist schon seltsam mit uns Menschen \u2013 in einer spannenden Geschichte erwarten wir st&#228;ndig &#220;berraschungen und verr&#252;ckte Wendungen, um unterhalten zu werden, Liebhaber von klar definierten Musikstilen dagegen wollen, dass immer alles so ist \u201ewie man es kennt\u201c und es keinerlei &#220;berraschungen gibt.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei w&#228;re doch die &#252;berraschende und unerwartete Musik die tollste Dienstleistung &#252;berhaupt, indem sie uns mit etwas Neuem und Aufregendem konfrontiert, was wir so nicht erwartet h&#228;tten. Ein Staunen und Wundern darf nicht nur auf Bestellung kommen, es muss sich auch aus dem Ausbrechen und Transzendieren eines bestimmten Kontextes ergeben k&#246;nnen, ansonsten ist das Staunen nicht viel wert.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>19.9.2021<\/p>\n<p>Ruhiges Wochenende, von gro&#223;er Tr&#228;gheit gepr&#228;gt.
