Geburtstag \u2013 Von Julia Neupert<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Ir\u00e8ne Schweizer gilt als die Grande Dame des europ&#228;ischen Free-Jazz-Pianos. Geboren wurde sie am 2. Juni 1941 in Schaffhausen in der Schweiz. Im Gasthof ihrer Eltern begann sie als junges M&#228;dchen erst mit dem Schlagzeug- und sp&#228;ter dann mit dem Klavierspiel. Early Jazz, die Musik der s&#252;dafrikanischen Band Blue Notes und das freie Spiel pr&#228;gten ihre Handschrift als Musikerin \u2013 die nicht nur eine Pionierin, sondern eine der beeindruckendsten Pers&#246;nlichkeiten des europ&#228;ischen Free Jazz ist. Zu ihrem 80. Der M&#252;nchner Komponist geh&#246;rte Ende der 1980er Jahre in der Kompositionsklasse von Wilhelm Killmayer zu jenem H&#228;uflein junger Avantgardisten, die weg wollten von dem elit&#228;ren Image, das die Neue Musik umgab. Sie sagten Ad\u00e9 zum Insider-Habitus, brachen mit dem avantgardistischen Nimbus, dass man als H&#246;rer einer eingeschworenen Gemeinschaft angeh&#246;ren m&#252;sse, um mitreden zu k&#246;nnen. Moritz Eggert und seine Kollegen gr&#252;ndeten 1991 die \u201eaDevantgarde\u201c. Inzwischen feiert das M&#252;nchner Festival, das alle zwei Jahre stattfindet, seinen 30. Geburtstag. Wie sieht es heute aus mit dem Anspruch, interaktiv, multimedial, pluralistisch zu sein und dabei dem Publikum zug&#228;nglich und verst&#228;ndlich? Wir haben uns mit dieser und anderen Fragen in der Szene der ADEvantgardisten umgeh&#246;rt. Wir haben Stimmen von ProtagonistInnen gesammelt und zeichnen die Geschichte das Festivals von seinen Anf&#228;ngen bis heute nach. Eine Sendung von Ulrich M&#246;ller-Arnsberg<\/p>\n<p>23:03 \u2013 24:00 | &#214;1<br \/>\n<strong>Lockdownsessions mit dem ORF-Radiosymphonieorchester: Neue Einspielungen mit Musik von Roxanna Panufnik, Konstantia Gourzi und Anestis Logothetis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Das ORF-Radiosymphonieorchester Wien hat in den vergangenen Monaten unter dem Hashtag \u201eLockdownsessions\u201c zahlreiche neue Werke \u2013 gro&#223;teils mit seiner Chefdirigentin Marin Alsop \u2013 einstudiert und aufgenommen. Pandemiebedingt konnten diese Kompositionen bisher nicht vor Publikum gespielt werden, ein Grund mehr, sie den &#214;1 H&#246;rer\/innen als Radiopremieren zu pr&#228;sentieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Die griechische Komponistin und Dirigentin Konstantia Gourzi war 2020 Composer in Residence auf Schloss Grafenegg in Nieder&#246;sterreich. Ihre \u201eGedichte zu Prometheus\u201c, op. 28 stammen aus dem Jahr 2015 und sind, dem Prometheus-Mythos entsprechend, ein Ringen um Erkenntnis. Gourzi fand es reizvoll, sich mit der \u201eFrage der Tradition und unseren Wurzeln\u201c auseinanderzusetzen, sich in ihnen zu erkennen und sie klanglich ins Heute zu &#252;bertragen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Im Jahr 2013 schrieb die Britin Roxanna Panufnik \u201eTwo Composers, Four Hands\u201d f&#252;r doppeltes Streichorchester anl&#228;sslich der 100. Geburtstage des Grand Seigneurs der polnischen Musik, Witold Lutoslawski, und ihres Vaters, dem aus Warschau geb&#252;rtigen Komponisten Andrzej Panunfik. Roxanna Panufnik z&#228;hlt zu den prominentesten Musikschaffenden Gro&#223;britanniens, hat f&#252;r unterschiedliche Besetzungen komponiert und erhielt 2019 einen Auftrag f&#252;r zwei Dirigentinnen und zwei Ch&#246;re, der von Marin Alsop, der Chefdirigentin des RSO Wien, und Valentina Peleggi mit dem Baltimore Symphony Orchestra uraufgef&#252;hrt worden ist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Am 27. Oktober j&#228;hrt sich der Geburtstag von Anestis Logothetis zum 100. Mal. Bereits im Fr&#252;hjahr hat das RSO zwei seiner grafisch notierten Kompositionen, die Ballettmusik \u201eOdyssee\u201c (1963) und \u201eM&#228;andros\u201c (1965) aufgenommen. Geboren in Bulgarien, studierte Logothetis ab 1945 in Wien und blieb. Er entwickelte ab Ende der 1950er Jahre, von Zw&#246;lftontechnik und seriellen Techniken ausgehend, eine eigene Systematik f&#252;r grafische Notation, die es m&#246;glich machte, Klangcharaktere und Ger&#228;usche improvisatorisch produzierbar zu machen. Seine grafischen Notationen sind von seinem charakteristischen Stil mit ins dreidimensional gehenden dynamischen Formen, Strichexplosionen und vogelschwarmartigen Punktanh&#228;ufungen gepr&#228;gt. Aus dem Weltall betrachtet erscheint das Nordpolarmeer dann mitunter wie ein pr&#228;chtiges Gem&#228;lde, als h&#228;tte jemand mit schwungvollem Pinselstrich strahlende Gr&#252;n- und T&#252;rkist&#246;ne in das tiefe Blau gemischt. Jahrhundert ein Netz von Karawanen-Wanderwegen, die von Westen nach Osten zogen. Nicht einseitig, sondern hin und her ging der Handelsstrom, es war ein Geben und Nehmen zwischen Asien und Europa, auch Kulturg&#252;ter wurden ausgetauscht in den Karawansereien, Kleidung, Geschichte und Geschichten. Die H&#228;ndler brachten Gew&#252;rze und Seidenstoffe aus dem Orient, aber auch Instrumente und Spielweisen wanderten mit. Geigen, Lauten, Zithern? Wir folgen den Ahnen unserer europ&#228;ischen Instrumente \u2026 Geografisch bewegen wir uns auf der Seidenstra&#223;e entlang heutiger politischer Brennpunkte. Wir glauben, die Zust&#228;nde in Syrien, Irak, Iran, Afghanistan schon ganz gut zu kennen. Aber kennen wir sie wirklich? Ihren Instrumenten zu lauschen ist einer der besten Wege, um tiefer und direkt ins Herz einer anderen Kultur vorzusto&#223;en. Von Venedig geht es mit dem Schiff in den Libanon und weiter nach Damaskus, nach Bagdad und in den Iran, &#252;ber Isfahan oder Mashhad zu den Perlen der persischen Kultur. Vom Iran dann weiter mit einem Abstecher ins sch&#246;ne Afghanistan der siebziger Jahre, um das einzigartige Rubab von Herat noch einmal zu erleben. Rubab, das ist die geh&#246;rnte Laute, die man in verschiedensten Formen in ganz Zentralasien findet. Aus Iran soll urspr&#252;nglich die arabische klassische Laute Oud stammen, auch die Langhalslauten Tar und Setar, und das Hackbrett Santur. Tambur kam aus der indischen Musik dazu und Dotar, die zweisaitige Laute ist ein uns v&#246;llig unbekanntes Instrument der Kunstmusik. Wir werden die brillante usbekische Dotar in Samarkand erleben, faszinierend, was man auf zwei Saiten alles machen kann! Buchara und Samarkand, diese ber&#252;hmten St&#228;dte der Seidenstra&#223;e im usbekischen Zentralasien sind Schnittpunkte von Kulturen. Mazedonische, mongolische und sp&#228;ter islamische Herrscher bildeten eine wechselvolle Geschichte in dieser nomadischen Region, deren architektonische Zeugnisse heute Tourismusattraktionen sind. Schamanismus, Islam, Buddhismus verschmolzen hier oft miteinander. Der post-sowjetische Transformationsprozess verbindet russische musikalische Pr&#228;gung mit alten Traditionen. Schon vor unserer Zeitrechnung aber wurde hier gehandelt, die Karawanen zogen durch. Gr&#246;&#223;ere j&#252;dische Kolonien entstanden, tausend Jahre alte j&#252;dische Gemeinden pr&#228;gten die musikalische Kultur in Samarkand mit.
