Die Pandemie hat diesen Prozess nicht ins Stocken gebracht, sondern eher noch beschleunigt. Gegenw&#228;rtig erkunden die 12 S&#228;nger*innen die M&#246;glichkeiten des Films, kontrapunktieren Joe Bidens Amtseinf&#252;hrung mit einem Livekonzert oder begeben sich mit Martin Sch&#252;ttler und Mathias Monrad M\u00f8ller in den deutschen Wald. In ihrem Duo-Programm R\u00edmur beziehen sich Saxofonist Stefan Karl Schmid und Pianist Lars Duppler auf isl&#228;ndische Volkslieder. Die Musik der beiden K&#246;lner mit skandinavischen Wurzeln changiert zwischen heiter und wehm&#252;tig und l&#228;sst weite imagin&#228;re Landschaften vor&#252;berziehen. Lars Duppler und Stefan Karl Schmid sind jeweils Kind eines deutschen Vaters und einer isl&#228;ndischen Mutter. Die Besch&#228;ftigung mit ihren nordischen Wurzeln zieht sich durch ihre eigene Musik. Der Saxofonist interpretierte und arrangierte mehrfach traditionelle Melodien, der Pianist nahm sogar ein ganzes Album mit Bearbeitungen auf. 2013 taten sie sich unter diesem Vorzeichen zum Duo R\u00edmur zusammen: Ihre St&#252;cke entstehen auf der Basis isl&#228;ndischer Volks- und Tanzlieder, deren Stoffe und Motive der Saga-Tradition entstammen. Gemeinsam erschaffen Schmid und Duppler melodi&#246;se, mal t&#228;nzerische, mal kontemplative, mal expressive Song-Improvisationen. Die australische Band The Necks hat sich in &#252;ber 30 Jahren den Rang einer Kultband erspielt. Pianist Chris Abrahams, Schlagzeuger Tony Buck und Bassist Lloyd Swanton verwarfen von Anfang an das Konzept, sich auf Konzerte vorzubereiten. Und so werden Zuh&#246;rende Teil von Prozessen der Ann&#228;herung, &#220;berlagerung, Verdichtung und fortw&#228;hrender Wiederholung von Kl&#228;ngen, welche die Musiker manchmal &#252;ber Stunden entfalten. Ihre Konzerte er&#246;ffnen psychoakustische Erfahrungswelten, in die man wie von selbst eintauchen kann. 2008 waren The Necks zu Gast bei den Donaueschinger Musiktagen.<\/p>\n<p>22:05 bis 23:00 | BR-KLASSIK<br \/>\n<strong>Horizonte: Weltenbummler, Bettler, Enigma \u2013 Der Komponist Gordon Sherwood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Der Komponist Gordon Sherwood ist schwer zu fassen. Das gilt f&#252;r seinen Stil genauso wie f&#252;r sein rastloses Leben. Geboren wird er in den USA, wo die Karriere vielversprechend anf&#228;ngt: mit der Urauff&#252;hrung seiner Symphonie durch die New Yorker Philharmoniker. Doch mit einem herk&#246;mmlichen Werdegang kann Sherwood nichts anfangen \u2013 er geht seinen eigenen Weg, der ihn quer &#252;ber die Kontinente f&#252;hrt. Angetrieben durch eine asketische Philosophie, auf der Suche nach Sinn und Inspiration, verbringt er den gr&#246;&#223;ten Teil seines Lebens als Bettler. Und schreibt nebenher &#252;ber 100 Werke \u2013 quer durch alle Genres. Die Pianistin Masha Dimitrieva kannte Sherwood pers&#246;nlich und setzt sich seit zwanzig Jahren f&#252;r die Wiederentdeckung ein. Gemeinsam mit ihr und anderen Weggef&#228;hrten begeben wir uns auf Spurensuche. Eduard Kutrowatz, Karl Messner, Thomas Maria Monetti, Stefan Kocsis, Herwig Reiter, Otto Strobl und Jens Tak\u00e1cs sind dabei Partnerschaften mit den Autorinnen und Autoren Hermann Hesse, Peter Turrini, Walter Paul Kirsch, Gertrud Zelger-Alten, Christine Lavant, Erich K&#228;stner, Hilde Domin, Hertha Kr&#228;ftner, Hugo von Hofmannsthal und Christine N&#246;stlinger eingegangen. Und schon alleine die Namen machen mehr als neugierig und wecken Erwartungen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dass dabei der Titel des Samplers (\u201eIn Sand geschrieben\u201c) eingeschriebenes Programm dieser Erwartungshaltung sein k&#246;nnte, hat sich vermutlich erst im finalen Durchh&#246;ren des Tontr&#228;gers ergeben. Ebenso wie eine Diversit&#228;t, die schon allein durch die vertretenen Komponisten und deren zeitliches Schaffensfeld breit aufgestellt ist. Die \u201ekroatischen Bauernlieder\u201c des Jen&#246; Tak\u00e1cs stehen in einem v&#246;llig anderen Kontext als die Turrini-Vertonung von Thomas Maria Monetti, der dieses Projekt in seiner Funktion als Verantwortlicher von KIBu auch ma&#223;geblich mitgestaltet hat. Die einsame Insel, gerade 130 Kilometer von Nordafrika entfernt, war in ihrer Geschichte eine wichtige Station zwischen den Kontinenten. Mit den Seefahrern, die hier Schutz suchten, kamen auch die Kl&#228;nge aus Nordafrika und haben sich mit der lampedusanischen bzw. sizilianischen Kultur vermischt. Zum ersten Mal weiter bekannt wurde das Eiland durch den Roman \u201eDer Leopard\u201c von Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Erst nach zwanzig Jahren &#220;bung, sagt sein Meister in Rajasthan, klingt das Instrument gut. Vorausgesetzt, man widmet sich voll und ganz dem Alghoza-Studium. Alghoza spielen sei das Erste, was man nach dem Aufwachen macht und das Letzte, bevor man zu Bett geht. F&#252;r Steev Kindwald geht es um viel mehr als das blo&#223;e &#220;ben auf einem Instrument: Alghoza spielen ist ein Seins-Zustand, eine Lebensform. Und es ist die Kunst, wie jene Menschen zu leben, die die Alghoza bis zur Vollendung verinnerlicht haben, und dennoch seine eigenen Varianten dieser Musik zu pr&#228;gen.
