Huber studierte von 1992-1998 Komposition bei Ivan Er&#246;d, Kurt Schwertsik, Medienkomposition bei Klaus Peter Sattler sowie Jazztheorie und Arrangement bei Christian M&#252;hlbacher. Ber&#252;hrungsangst vor verschiedenen Stilrichtungen kennt der 1971 in Innsbruck Geborene nicht: \u201e&#220;berall gibt es Brauchbares und zu Vermeidendes\u201c. Musik versteht er als \u201eKommunikationsmittel \u2013 ich will geh&#246;rt und verstanden werden.\u201c Hubers Credo, Neues entstehe nur durch Aussage, l&#228;sst sich wieder auf einer CD-Neuerscheinung &#252;berpr&#252;fen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Im 1. Satz seines bislang einzigen Klavierkonzerts wollte M.F. P. Huber \u201eden Zuh&#246;rer daran teilhaben lassen, wie man sich als Komponist f&#252;hlt, wenn man ein so ehrw&#252;rdiges Genre neu bedienen will\u201c. Geworden sei er als \u201eein Blick ins Komponistenhirn, das erst geordnet werden will, bevor es nach den vielen Zitaten zu einer eigenen Aussage findet\u201c. Es sei Huber auf \u201eAufsehen erregend neue und kreative Art\u201c gelungen, mit einer Vielzahl ber&#252;hmter Werke umzugehen, so ein Kritiker 2015 nach der Urauff&#252;hrung.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Im Jahr darauf gelang Huber mit seiner 4. Symphonie ein \u201egro&#223;er Wurf\u201c, ein anderer Kritiker sprach von \u201eeiner ganz gro&#223;en Symphonie des 21. Mitte der 1990er-Jahre nur mehr gelegentlich in den Konzertprogrammen. Auch nach dem Umstieg auf den Computer standen der Raum und die Bewegungen des Klanges darin im Mittelpunkt ihres Interesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Nach wie vor komponiert die 83-J&#228;hrige in ihrem Studio in der N&#228;he von Rouen (Frankreich) und hat dieses Jahr zwei CDs ver&#246;ffentlicht. \u201eHuellas Entreveradas\u201c verwandelt Vokallaute in Chortexturen, die weiter fragmentieren und immer wieder mit Stille durchsetzt sind. Man hatte sie w&#228;hrend des Krieges vergraben, um sie zu bewahren.<\/p>\n<p>23:03 \u2013 24:00 | &#214;1<br \/>\n<strong>Elektroakustische Konzertserie von G&#252;nther Rabl \u2013 Inside Out. <\/strong><strong>Das Festival der Electric Orpheus Academy (1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">2010 fand die erste Electric Orpheus Academy statt, eine von G&#252;nther Rabl in Rapottenstein organisierte Meisterklassen- und Konzertserie f&#252;r elektroakustische Musik. F&#252;r die heurige Jubil&#228;umsausgabe wurde das Programm umgestaltet und die Academy pr&#228;sentierte Anfang August ein dreit&#228;giges Festival mit &#246;sterreichischen und internationalen Musikschaffenden. In \u201eZeit-Ton\u201c sind in zwei Teilen Mitschnitte des Inside Out zu h&#246;ren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">G&#252;nther Rabl, der Gr&#252;nder der Electric Orpheus Academy, spielte in den mittleren 1970er Jahren u.a. mit Friedrich Gulda und begann zu dieser Zeit, sich mit elektroakustischer Komposition auseinanderzusetzen. Mit Dieter Kaufmann, seinem ehemaligen Lehrer am Wiener Elektroakustischen Institut ELAK, beschallte er 1992 den &#214;sterreich-Pavillon der EXPO in Sevilla. Bis 2007 unterrichtete Rabl dann am ELAK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Die Electric Orpheus Academy (EOA) entstand aus der Intention heraus, diese Meisterklassen-Kurse in konzentrierter Form bei gleichzeitig entspannter Atmosph&#228;re weiterzuf&#252;hren. Abgehalten wird die EOA in einer stillgelegten S&#228;gewerkshalle gleich in der N&#228;he von Rabls Anwesen im Waldviertler Ort Rapottenstein.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">G&#252;nther Rabl gr&#252;ndete auch das Label Canto Crudo, auf dem neben eigenen Werken viele Ver&#246;ffentlichungen der bei der EOA t&#228;tigen K&#252;nstler\/innen herausgekommen sind. Anl&#228;sslich des Jubil&#228;ums zum 20-j&#228;hrigen Bestehen wurden einige Ver&#246;ffentlichungen neu aufgelegt bzw. sind erstmals auf Vinyl erschienen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Heuer wurde die Academy zugunsten eines dreit&#228;gigen Festivals reorganisiert. Geburtstag von Ernst Krenek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Am 23. August 2020 j&#228;hrt sich Ernst Kreneks Geburtstag zum 120. Mal. Krenek z&#228;hlt zu jenen &#246;sterreichischen K&#252;nstlern, die durch ihre Emigration in den 1930er Jahren in Europa sp&#228;ter nie mehr richtig Fu&#223; fassen konnten. Der Komponist und Schriftsteller verfasste Werke aller Gattungen und schrieb f&#252;r seine zahlreichen dramatischen Werken auch zumeist selbst die Libretti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Kreneks Nachlass mit unz&#228;hligen Briefen, u.a. prominenter Pers&#246;nlichkeiten wie Thomas Mann, Theodor W. Adorno oder Igor Strawinsky, Werkskizzen, Aquarelle, seine Bibliothek, sein Klavier und Alltagsgegenst&#228;nde sind im Ernst Krenek Institut in Krems aufbewahrt, werden dort wissenschaftlich aufgearbeitet und der &#214;ffentlichkeit zug&#228;nglich gemacht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Der Geiger und Dirigent Ernst Kovacic kannte Krenek pers&#246;nlich, hat einige seiner Kompositionen in seinem Repertoire und ist seit vielen Jahren Vorstandsvorsitzender des Instituts.
